The following aircraft are available for hire or training from Dundee Airport

Grob 115D2

Used primarily for training, these aircraft make good touring machines and as a bonus are also fully aerobatic. Equipped with IO-320 engines with inverted oil systems make them very capable and a good machine to take your first steps into Aerobatic's. At the club there are very capable instructors available to train you to the AOPA Aerobatics course which is widely recognised.

Cessna 152

Used primarily for training, these aircraft make good touring machines and for many years have been the standard training aircraft of choice. The Aerobat's are capable of basic aerobatics and can be use to train you to the AOPA Aerobatics course which is widely recognized.

Piper PA28-161 Warrior

The ever popular 4 seat touring aircraft which are fully IFR equipped. They can be used for initial training but are more normally used for IMC training and PPL hire. The IMC course consists of a minimum 15 hours training followed by a 1 hour test. Candidates learn to fly with sole reference to instruments and the outside view is shielded shortly after take-off until the last few minutes before landing.

Piper PA28-181 Arrow

A very capable 4 seat touring machine which is fully IFR equipped and also has a retractable under carriage. The Arrow is normally used for commercial training. Depending on training requirements the Arrow can sometimes be hired for PPL flying.
